The Embody Chair by Herman Miller was revolutionary in its design, ergonomic support and production values. It needed an equally forward-thinking advertising campaign. Lionhouse produced this striking and highly successful campaign across outdoor, print and digital media.

In 1953, Herman Miller’s founder D.J. De Pree stated, long before it was fashionable to do so, ‘We will be good stewards of the environment’. This long-held policy of corporate responsibility underpins everything Herman Miller do. But their passionate values were unsung. Competitors were stealing a march, jumping on the green bandwagon. Lionhouse named Herman Miller’s environmental approach Policy 53, and a distinctive sub-campaign was born. As part of this campaign we have produced award-winning work for the trade, for consumers and Herman Miller’s internal audience.

Over the years we have produced an on-going brand campaign for Herman Miller. It is known as the Facts and Figures campaign because that’s exactly what it delivers. There are 9 ads within the set at present. The stylish, yet flexible art direction allows for new product initiatives to be added ensuring consistent brand communications.

Herman Miller produce official Eames-designed furniture for global markets. Lionhouse created an impactful and stylish advertising campaign to communicate the advantages of purchasing genuine designer office furniture rather than pale imitations.

Every two years, Herman Miller exhibit at Orgatec, the international office and facilities show. Lionhouse designed digital and printed invitations and collateral materials for the show stand, along with take-away brochures and gifts. Our show designs generated new brand interest and momentum, and helped increase Herman Miller’s sales by £1million.
